I was born in Sicily, where I live and work, between the sea and Mount Etna.

 

 I work and experiment with words, painting, textile and paper in my studio, in a hidden garden. I love silence and quiet places, where words and images can intertwine their different rhythms, telling unexpected stories.

 

 After spending several years in children's books,  writing and illustrating picture books in Italy and abroad, I decided to further my research in other directions.

 

 In my experimentation I explore the interaction between different materials and instruments, always playing with both images and words, in an attempt to capture the essence of what surrounds us every day, a place, a flower, a dream.
